Hvozdář 12°: The Story of a Beer

This time, we decided to step away from our previous beers and create a dark one. The result is Hvozdář 12°, whose name refers to the Hvozdář - traditional malt house workers responsible for overseeing the kiln where malt was dried.

The beer is characterized by coffee notes that transition into a dry finish with a hint of gently bitter chocolate. A subtle smoky touch of roasted barley gives the beer its character and depth.
